This Privacy Policy explains how S.S Enterprises, an authorised real-estate dealer and consultancy specialising in Naya Nazimabad, Karachi, Pakistan, collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use our mobile application for iOS and Android (the App) and our website at https://ssenterprises.com.pk (the Website). Please read it together with our Terms & Conditions.
Introduction & scope
In this Policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean S.S Enterprises, and "you" means any person who uses the App or the Website (together, the Platform). This Policy covers both the App (a real-estate inventory marketplace where registered users list and browse properties) and the Website (which displays approved listings to the public).
The Platform is used by two groups: (a) end users who self-register, namely brokers (who belong to a real-estate company) and independent clients; and (b) S.S Enterprises staff, namely admins and master admins, who review and approve inventory. By using the Platform you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account & profile information
- Your full name, email address and a password. Your password is stored only as a bcrypt hash — we never store your plaintext password.
- A mandatory contact phone number.
- Your user type (broker or independent client) and, for brokers, your company name.
User-generated content
- Property listings, including title, location/block, property type (plot, bungalow, apartment, commercial showroom or commercial plot), purpose (for sale or for rent), area, price and description.
- Property photos and property documents that you upload.
- Your favorites, and the bids/offers you make, which may include optional voice-note audio recordings.
Technical data
- An authentication token (JWT) stored locally on your device to keep you signed in.
- Server-side request logs and your IP address.
- An in-app notification inbox stored in our database.
We do not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics) in the App or on the Website, and we do not collect advertising identifiers. If we add any such tool in a future version, we will update this Policy and our store data-safety disclosures before doing so.
Website data
- The Website displays approved listings to anonymous visitors and may use minimal cookies and local storage for basic functionality and your preferences.
- The Website embeds a Google Map of our office. This embed is served by Google and may set its own third-party cookies or similar technologies on your browser, which are controlled by Google under its own privacy policy and not by us.
- The Website also links out to third-party platforms. Visiting those services is subject to their own privacy policies.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in.
- Enable you to create, edit, browse and manage property listings, favorites and bids/offers.
- Review, approve and publish inventory, and apply our contact-masking rule (described below).
- Display approved listings on the App and the Website.
- Send you in-app notifications relevant to your activity.
- Operate, secure, maintain and improve the Platform, and keep request logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
Legal bases for processing
Under the applicable laws of Pakistan, we process your personal data on the following bases:
- Consent — for example, when you grant device permissions (camera, microphone, photo/file access), record optional voice notes, or upload a listing knowing that our contact-masking rule will apply. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Platform, create and operate your account, and deliver the services you request under our Terms & Conditions.
- Our legitimate interests — to secure and improve the Platform, prevent fraud and misuse, keep dealings flowing through S.S Enterprises, and communicate with you about your activity, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
How we share information
The contact-masking rule
To keep all dealings flowing through S.S Enterprises, the public contact shown on a listing is the approving S.S Enterprises admin (or the generic S.S Enterprises contact on the Website) — not the original uploader. By uploading a listing, you understand and accept this arrangement. S.S Enterprises staff (admins and master admins) and you, as the uploader, can still see your original identity and contact details for that listing.
Visibility to S.S Enterprises staff
Our admins and master admins can access account, profile and listing information in order to review, approve and manage inventory and to operate the Platform.
Hosting and service providers
Your data is stored on our hosting provider's (cPanel) secure servers. We share information with service providers only to the extent needed to host and operate the Platform, and they are required to protect it.
Optional Firebase push notifications
Push notifications are currently delivered through an in-app inbox stored in our own database. If a future version of the App enables push delivery via Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service), your device push token would be processed by Google acting as our processor for that purpose.
Legal and regulatory disclosure
We may disclose information where we believe in good faith that it is required to comply with the applicable laws of Pakistan, a lawful request or court order, or to protect the rights, safety and property of S.S Enterprises, our users or the public.
Business transfers
If S.S Enterprises is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal data
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
App permissions (camera, microphone, photos/files) and how to manage them
The App requests the following device permissions, each used only for its stated purpose:

| Photos / files (media access) | To let you attach property photos and documents you choose. On modern devices this is access to the specific photos or files you select via the system picker (for example, Android's photo picker on Android 13+ and the iOS photo picker), rather than broad access to your whole device storage. |
You can grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device settings. If you revoke a permission, the related feature (for example, attaching photos or recording a voice note) may not work.
Data retention
We retain your account and profile data, and the content you create, for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. Server-side request logs and IP addresses are kept for a short period for security, abuse-prevention and troubleshooting purposes — ordinarily up to about 90 days — after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required to investigate a specific security incident or to comply with the applicable laws of Pakistan.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we are required or permitted to retain certain information to comply with the applicable laws of Pakistan, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our agreements. Any such retained records are kept only for as long as that purpose requires — ordinarily no longer than about 180 days unless a longer period is legally required — and are then deleted or anonymised.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed, access is restricted by user role, and data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS. Data is stored on our hosting provider's secure servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Subject to the applicable laws of Pakistan, you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update your account and profile details — most information can be changed directly in the App via Profile > Edit Profile.
- Delete your account and associated personal data via Profile > Delete Account in the App, or by email (see Account & data deletion below).
- Withdraw consent you previously gave, including by revoking device permissions in your device settings.
- Object to certain processing of your data.
- Complain to us about how we handle your data by contacting us using the details below.
Account & data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data in two ways:
- In-app — open Profile > Delete Account in the App and confirm the request.
- By email — by writing to us at info@ssenterprises.com.pk from your registered email address.
When you delete your account, we remove your profile information, your listings, photos, documents, favorites and bids/offers (including any voice notes), and your in-app notification inbox, except for information we are required or permitted to retain to comply with the applicable laws of Pakistan, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our agreements. Such retained information is kept only for as long as necessary (ordinarily no longer than about 180 days unless a longer period is legally required) and is then deleted or anonymised.
Children's privacy
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and accounts are restricted to users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will delete that account and its associated personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International data transfers
We and our hosting and service providers may store and process your information on servers that are located in, or accessed from, countries other than Pakistan. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected in line with this Policy.
Third-party links and services
The Platform contains links to and embeds from third-party services, including a Google Map of our office (whose embed may set its own cookies) and links to WhatsApp, Zameen, OLX, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
